Smashing Frames is a film and theatre production company founded by Daniel and Julie Rae Mollenkamp and based in the Kansas City, Missouri area.

Previously producing film and theatre under the banners of Mid-Mo Movies and JulieRae Productions respectively, husband and wife team Daniel and Julie created Smashing Frames to capitalize on the synergy of talented artists working in a variety of media.

Recent productions include In Conclusive Woman, JulieRae's autobiographical, multi-media solo performance that enjoyed a successful Off-Off Broadway run, and The Genre Holiday Project, an original film series that simultaneously explores major film genres and holiday themes.

Daniel Mollenkamp is a freelance editor and independent filmmaker. Dr. Julie Rae Mollenkamp, Ph.D. is an award-winning teacher at the University of Central Missouri's Department of Theatre.
